Plans for almost 500 new homes in Kidlington will be decided this week.
The two separate applications – which together would add up to 488 homes to the village – will be voted on by Cherwell District Council’s planning committee at a meeting on Wednesday (October 5).
The first plan would see 370 homes built off Bicester Road, to the east of the village.

It has been submitted by Barwood Development Securities Limited and the Trustees of The Philip King Homes Trust and has received objections from the parish councils of Kidlington and Gosford and Water Eaton.
The second is for 118 homes off Oxford Road, which is further south by Kidlington Roundabout, near the land that was leased to Oxford United for its new stadium by Oxfordshire County Council last month.
This application has been made by Manor Oak Homes, G B Bishop-Fruedling & C A Parsons.
