An Oxfordshire MP's interview on a UK-wide political podcast was interrupted by her own cat.
Liberal Democrat MP for Oxford West and Abingdon, Layla Moran, appeared on the Save the UK podcast this week only to be upstaged by her 21-year-old black and white cat Murphy.
Author and broadcaster Grace Blakeley and journalist Coco Khan were grilling the MP when the interview was suddenly paused by the sounds of Ms Moran's pet.
Ms Moran said of Murphy on the podcast: “As you can see she’s very fluffy and black and white, and so if you turn her upside down she looks like a pint of Murphys.”

The MP for Oxford West and Abingdon discussed tactical voting, and told the hosts that her party "definitely won't be going into coalition with the Tories".
