A person suffered a cracked tooth after they were punched in the face while sat in traffic in Kidlington.

Thames Valley Police has appealed for witnesses to the incident of actual bodily harm, which occurred at around 3.30pm on Friday, August 11.

The victim was assaulted while sat in traffic on the Oxford Road, near the Parade.

Following an altercation, the suspect got out of their car and punched the victim in the face.

The victim received a cracked tooth and bleeding but did not require hospital treatment.

Police appealed said there were multiple vehicles in the traffic and people on the pavements, and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Investigating officer, PC Megan Woodland based at St Aldates police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please get in touch. 

“I would particularly like to speak to two men who work as electricians, who stopped to help the victim.

“I would also like to ask if you were driving in this area at this time to please check dash cam footage.
