Two men who stabbed a man in Greater Leys have today been jailed indefinitely.
Anthony Bartlett, of Norman Smith Road, was convicted of wounding with intent following an attack in January, which left sales executive Simon Pratley needing emergency surgery.
Bartlett's half-brother Ronnie Charlett, who was on the run from a bail hostel at the time of the attack, admitted the same charge.
Mr Pratley, 26 begged for mercy from Bartlett, 28, and Charlett 23, during the attack as he lay bleeding in a garden in Norman Smith Road.
At Oxford Crown Court today, Bartlett was told he would serve a minimum of five-and-a-half years, while Chartlett was told he would be jailed for at least three years and nine months.
