Thousands of Oxford United fans will test their football skills against the team's sharpest shooters tomorrow.
For the third year on the trot, the club is opening up its doors to supporters young and fans for its annual fun day.
There will be a range of activities, including watching the first team training, seeing next season's new kit - unveiled by Miss Oxford Lyndsay Fayle and touring the stadium.
Last year, an estimated 4,000 people came along to the event, which is supported by the Oxford Mail. From 9am tomorrow, there will be small games on the hallowed turf, before fans take on the first team in Oxfordshire's biggest game. At the last fun day, 300 fans took part.
Later, youngsters will be able to meet their favourite players, ask for autographs and take photographs.
They will also be taking on Oxford Mail readers in a penalty shoot-out. As well as the current team, Oxford United legends George Lawrence and Joey Beauchamp are also expected to show up, as well as Timmy Mallet.
United spokesman Chris Williams encouraged U's fans of all ages to come along and enjoy themselves.
He told the Oxford Mail last night: "It's fantastic to see the kids train on the pitch and take on the first team. We throw open the doors to everybody and there will be lots happening throughout the day. It's a day everybody at the club enjoys and hopefully the fans enjoy just as much."
Visitors have the chance to win the new hone short, on sale for the first time, as well as go behind the scenes at the Kassam Stadium and hear the roar as they emerge from the tunnel.
Oxford United are currently training hard for their first game of the season away to Barrow in Cumbria next month.
The Blue Square Premier game kicks off at 7.30pm on Friday, August 8. Four days later, the U's take on Weymouth at the Kassam Stadium.
