A member of the public has been arrested for driving while intoxicated after road checks around Abingdon.
Thames valley Police’s Rural Crime Taskforce have been conducting road checks in the areas around Abingdon.
A police spokesperson said: “We have carried out plenty of plant and trailer checks. Two vehicles were seized for having no insurance, one person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Milton, and one person was arrested as wanted near Chieveley.”

According to Police.uk the legal limit in England, Wales and Northern Ireland for driving is 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood or 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
In Scotland the limit is 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood or 22 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
