An opening date has been revealed for a popular village pub near Abingdon.
The Crown in Marcham will open its doors to the public next Thursday (September 28) from 5pm, new owners Oak Tavern confirmed.
The pub has been closed since the summer of 2022.

The Thame based pub company had an offer accepted in July and has carried out a major refurbishment of the inside and outside of the building.
Managing director Simon Collinson said: “We’re just coming to the end now. There are just a few bits we’re finishing off.
“We’re hurtling towards our opening date.”
Oak Taverns owns pubs in Wallingford, Bicester, Chinnor and Faringdon among others.
In June, an application by villagers to turn the Crown into a community-run business was denied by Vale of White Horse District Council.
