An Oxfordshire school has partially closed today (Thursday, September 21) because of flooding.
Lord Williams's School in Thame has reported the emergency closure to The Lower School, which is for pupils in Years 7, 8, and 9.
Headteacher Jon Ryder said: “We have had a flood at Lower School where water has come in from the ceiling in the main reception building.

"The fire brigade have attended and the power is currently off. We do not yet know when it will be possible to turn the power back on.
“I am very sorry, but we will not be able to open Lower School tomorrow due to the number of critical areas that are out of action.
“Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 should not attend school tomorrow.
“We will update you as soon as we are able.”
