Two women have appeared in court in connection with an alleged sledgehammer burglary.
Claire Baker, 44, and Chloe Cotton, 25, were due to stand trial at Oxford Crown Court this week following the alleged aggravated break-in on the Glory Farm estate, Bicester, in August 2020.
But before a jury could be sworn on Monday (September 18), Baker admitted causing actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon, while co-defendant Cotton pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm.
Judge Ian Pringle KC, the honorary Recorder of Oxford, bailed both women to return to court for sentencing on October 11.
