A Second World War Supermarine Spitfire fighter plane will be calling in at Bicester Airfield this evening.
Alister Kay, 58, an instructor at the Windrushers Gliding Club, in Skimmingdish Lane, will land at about 5.30pm, after a display at Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Mk IX Spitfire will stay in Bicester until tomorrow, when it will fly out to visit another airshow before returning to its base at Duxford, in Cambridgeshire.
