Apple designers Marc Newson and Jonny Ive have bought matching manor houses in the same Cotswolds village.

Mr Newson, 51, who was born in Sydney, holds the record for the most valuable work sold at auction by a living designer — his Lockheed Lounge chair which sold at Phillips in London for £2.4million.
The chair, one of his earliest pieces, is so chic Madonna has one.
He is married to Charlotte Stockdale, the fashion director of Garage magazine, who used to work closely with Karl Lagerfeld, and they have two children.
Meanwhile Mr Ive, is equal 637th on the latest Sunday Times Rich List, worth £150million.
He approached the owners of a Grade I listed manor house with gardens just upstream and asked them to name their price.
Locals believe the price paid was £13million "although it needs a lot of work", one said.
