Taps were left running in homes as a spate of burglaries took place in South Oxfordshire.
The suspects are said to have gained access to properties on Kings Walk in Henley on Thames, Pearces Meadow in Nettlebed and Lane End and Thames Mead in Crowmarsh Gifford yesterday evening (September 12).
Entry was gained to the homes through either back doors or rear patio doors with jewellery appearing to be the main target.

A passport and driving licence were also stolen from the home on Thames Mead and a strongbox was left in the kitchen sink with the tap left running.
The alarm box was removed from the wall at the property on Kings Walk and a tap was left running in the bathroom.
A handbag was left in the kitchen sink at the home on Lane End with cleaning fluid and water poured over it.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage of the burglaries which happened between 6pm and 11.15pm.
