Costumes from the hit series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story are on display at Blenheim Palace from today (September 11).

The period drama focuses on young Queen Charlotte's rise to prominence and power and was ranked number one on Netflix in 91 countries during its first week.

Fans will be able to marvel at costumes from special scenes in the show until November 5.
The costumes on display include:
- The wedding dress worn by young Queen Charlotte as she climbs the Palace walls - and young King George finds her and meets her for the first time.
- Queen Charlotte’s peach and green ensemble and King George’s corresponding dark grey and aubergine outfit from their first dinner together as a married couple.
- The dress from Queen Charlotte’s "under the bed" scene - and her wig which features at the end of the series.
Blenheim Palace visitors will also be able to walk in the footsteps of the Queen Charlotte cast with two ‘Lights, Camera, Action’ daily film tours at 11am and 3pm.
These will last 45 minutes and visitors will be taken behind the scenes of some of the moments within the series.
Many of the show’s scenes at Buckingham House (now known as Buckingham Palace) were filmed at Blenheim Palace.
This included the key dining moment between young Queen Charlotte and King George, and the famous Water Terraces which saw the palace magically transformed into the enchanting outdoor space where the final ball takes place.
The space was filled with incredible dancers and courtiers for the scene from Episode 6.
Heather Carter, managing director at Blenheim Palace said: “Fans of Queen Charlotte will already know and love Blenheim Palace as a backdrop for the hugely popular show, but being able to display these costumes from some of the most important moments is so special.
“It’s great that we’re able to keep that connection with Queen Charlotte and for people to have the chance to go behind the scenes of this fabulous series.”

The UNESCO World Heritage Site was the ideal choice as Buckingham House, due to its real-life connections with Queen Charlotte and King George lll.
The duo shared a close friendship with the 4th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough, and after their visit to Blenheim Palace, they were so inspired that they embarked on renovating Buckingham House.
