A doorbell camera caught the "shocking" moment lightning struck a house in an Oxfordshire village.
On Sunday afternoon, a chimney of a house in Chalgrove on Francis Brown Way was hit by lightning causing bricks to fall into the road.
This came after a week of scorching weather with the Met Office issuing a yellow thunderstorm weather warning for a large part of the central UK, including Oxfordshire.

Fire crews are pictured entering the home through an upstairs window with it being understood that the house was empty at the time and no one was injured from the incident.
A nearby neighbour said that the debris damaged homes and cars in the vicinity as well as caused electrical problems in the area.
Householder Sean Davey said: “The chimney exploded and bricks landed in the street and smashed into the homeowner's car.
“Neighbour’s houses have been damaged and people in the nearby houses are reporting electrical problems with game consoles, internet routers and household electrics.
“Nobody was home or hurt. There was just one lightning strike out of the blue and the the storm was gone.”
Another neighbour Matt Chilton said: “A huge bang shook the village and what was caught on camera was shocking.
“A massive bolt of lightning struck a chimney sending bricks and debris over a wide area.
“Luckily as it was raining no one was out walking otherwise somebody could have been killed.”
The Oxford Mail has approached Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue for a comment on the incident.
