Rare 50p coins for sale on eBay range between £15 to £150.
These coin sellers are among many people on eBay trying to sell rare coins to collectors.
One of the most expensive coins being sold is a Kew Gardens 50p, which was listed as a genuine 2009 circulated coin.
The coin sold for £150, plus £2.95 postage on Thursday, August 10.
A second Kew Gardens 50p coin, also listed as genuine and circulated in 2009 was sold for slightly cheaper at £146, but £5 for postage on Saturday, June 17 after six bids.
Another quirky coin being sold is a Wallace and Gromit 'Change Checker 50p BUNC Coin 2019'.
This coin sold for £19 after 14 bids on Monday, August 28.
Another Beatrice Potter 50p coin featuring Tom Kitten sold for £15 on Saturday, August 26.
Earlier this year, another eBay user was trying to make a few quid by selling a new 50p coin with King Charles III's featured on it for over £1,000.
The 50p's bearing King Charles’s official coin portrait were released on Thursday, August 10, and a seller tried to start the bidding at a whopping £1,200.
Not only that but the buyer also would have had to fork out an extra £1.10 for postage.
When the coins were released, Rebecca Morgan, director of commemorative coin at the Royal Mint, said: "This is a special moment for the nation, as members of the public will have the opportunity to find a piece of history in their change.
"We anticipate the coronation 50p coins will be highly sought after among coin collectors and members of the public keen to own a piece of British history.
"The Royal Mint has had the honour of striking coins for every British monarch since Alfred the Great and we are proud to continue that long history with the introduction of His Majesty’s official coinage."
