A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "Titchmarsh wannabe gets weeded out.

"Two budding gardeners were stopped in Bicester following a vehicle intel marker. Both detained for a drug search.

"Their joint dreams to grow these plants faded away in a haze when Thames Valley Police Roads Policing finest arrested them."

The cannabis seedlings have been forfeited. It is not an offence to supply or possess cannabis seeds but any action which cultivates them is an offence.
