A week of scorching weather may break tomorrow with the possibility of thunderstorms.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for a large part of the central UK, including Oxfordshire.
The warning, which is in place from 2pm to 9pm, means there will be heavy showers and thunderstorms are possible, perhaps leading to some travel disruption.
It will be another hot day with temperatures predicted to reach 30C.
Temperatures in Oxfordshire soared to 32C - some of the highest in the UK - this week.
The last dose of summer followed one of the wettest July months on record, followed by a mixed bag of sunshine and rain in August.
Sadly it coincided with thousands of children getting back in uniform and returning to school this week as their six-week break came to an end.
A lot of England is being warned by the Met Office of the potential for thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and evening. This includes Oxfordshire. You can read more here: https://t.co/LmSb6l0hwd pic.twitter.com/VqXTeSeIpq
