A pub just outside Oxford is planning to knock down a barn to build bed and breakfast rooms.
The Mole Inn in Toot Baldon was given planning permission to turn its grain store into guest rooms in February.
An application has now been submitted to demolish the grain barn and build a new building with eight bedrooms, each with an ensuite, on the ground floor and another four bedrooms with ensuites on the first floor as well as a conference room on the upper floor.

The proposed lobby would provide a reception area facing back towards The Mole Inn.
The ground floor rooms are shown with French doors, which will open onto the small area of external space surrounding the building.
A planning statement reads: “It will benefit the rural economy in the village and beyond as The Mole trades with a myriad of businesses.
“The proposal will also improve the resilience of the pub as a business and so aid in safeguarding a community facility.”
