A two form entry primary school with places for 420 children has been granted planning permission in Wallingford.
The newly approved St Nicholas C.O.E Primary School will include 14 classrooms and a 30 place nursery.
It will form part of the larger Highcroft development, which will see 555 homes built to the west of the town on land off Wantage Road.

When the Highcroft plans were approved in 2017, permission was only granted for a one-form entry primary school - a smaller model of school with just one class for each year group.
When the developers revised their plan to a two form entry primary school – which would provide two classes for each year – they were forced to make a whole new application for the larger design.
The new application was approved by South Oxfordshire District Council on Friday, September 1.
The plans had been supported by Wallingford Town Council.
