Plans have been unveiled for a new youth hub to provide more activities for youngsters in an area of Oxford.
The city council intends to create a new youth hub at the Leys Pool and Leisure Centre on Pegasus Road.
This will be discussed in an Oxford City Council meeting next Wednesday (September 13).

The project will involve a remodelling of underused areas in the Leys Leisure Centre and would include the recruitment of five hub staff to help drive activities with young people.
The proposal comes after the city council and Oxfordshire County Council were successful in submitting a funding application to an external provider.
The name of the funder is embargoed but it has been confirmed that the councils will receive £1,120, 199 in capital and £223,907 in revenue funding.
The city and county councils have consulted with young people in the area and their ideas for the space include a community kitchen, a climbing wall, a space where young people can meet in groups and the inclusion of art.
Young people told the authorities they wanted this new space to not be tucked away at the back of the centre but to be at the front.
The location of this youth hub in the centre will mean that the existing creche room will be moved to a different part of the site and the small soft play area will not be reprovided.
The construction works are planned to start in the autumn of this year and to finish in the spring of next year.
