Ms Davies said: “It is very difficult to find places that sell African foods in the area, and in the past, we have had to travel to Oxford or Reading.
“I have been thinking about setting up the shop for around three years, but it was only recently I found a little room to rent.
“I am so excited to open.
“I have been shocked by all the positive responses on Facebook. People are interested in the products, and we haven’t even opened yet.”
One person commented on Facebook: “Congratulations! Will be sure to stop by and support your business."
Another added: “Great news. I miss the products so much.”
