The organisers of the Truck Festival, which showcases Oxfordshire's musical talent, want to expand.
They have applied to be allowed to increase the attendance at the event, at Hill Farm, in Steventon, from 5,000 to 6,000 people.
They hope the application to the Vale of White Horse District Council will be approved before this year's event, on the weekend of July 19 and 20, allowing them to sell an extra 500 tickets.
Organiser Joe Bennett said: "Last year, it was a struggle to fit in all the artists and performers under the current licence."
So far, 4,000 tickets have been sold for this month's event.
