A 23-year-old man from Witney has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving after a crash led to a man in his 20s suffering multiple fractures.
A man in his 20s was rushed to the John Radcliffe Hospital after his orange KTM motorcycle crashed with a silver Ford Fiesta last Thursday (August 24) at 4.35pm.
The crash took place on Colwell Drive in Abingdon and a 23-year-old man from Witney has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, driving whilst over a specified drug limit and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.

He has since been released under investigation.
The motorcyclist suffered multiple fractures to his arm and back and was discharged from hospital after treatment.
The crash was close by to the McDonald's in Abingdon on Colwell Drive.

Investigating officer PC Matt Watson, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision, whereby a man has sustained serious injuries, to please come forward.
“I would also like to know if anyone has any dash cam footage of the collision, or the vehicles involved shortly beforehand.”
