Kittens and cats at the Cherwell branch of Cats Protection are looking for a new home.

The Cherwell Cats Protection branch was founded in 2006 and it is a run by a small team who are dedicated to improving the lives of cats and kittens in the Cherwell area.

This week, Cherwell Cats Protection has given the Oxford Mail the lowdown on the cats which are looking for new owners in Oxfordshire.

The descriptions below have been provided by a volunteer at the charity.

Silina

Age: Six years old

Silina is a beautiful 6-year-old mini panther.

With her gorgeous soft fur and big eyes, she’s a little cuddle bug.

She is always very sweet, gentle, and playful.

Silina enjoys a good acrobatic round of chase before snuggling up on a lap for fuss.

Her favourite thing in the world is cheek rubs where she purrs contently away.

Silina is described as a “wonderful little companion”, but she cannot live with other dogs and cats.

It is possible that she could live with older cats.

Willo

Willo has stayed with the charity for the longest period of time and is their oldest cat.

Cherwell started caring for Willo when her owners moved away and were no longer able to care for her.

Initially, Willo is described as shy when meeting new people but she loves attention and is very gentle once she knows you.

She likes to curl up on the bed and sometimes people’s laps.

Willo is particular about what she likes to eat and is keen to be allowed back outside.

She needs to be the only cat in the household.

Sixteen kittens were rescued from the Alpine F1 Team garage during the British Grand Prix weekend and all of the kittens have since been neutered by the charity.

The kittens were found at the base in Enstone near Chipping Norton.

However, four of the kittens , which are a bit nervous, are still looking for their forever home.

These kittens include Saint, Gasly, Ocon and Sargeant.

Two more kittens, Tsunoda and Ricciardo, were found at the same place and they will soon be up for adoption.
