A missing man from Oxford has been found after police sent a helicopter to search for him.
Sonny Lindo, 39, left the John Radcliffe Hospital on Sunday, August 20, at around 9.20am.
Since Mr Lindo’s disappearance, police became increasingly concerned for his welfare and a police helicopter was seen operating over Bicester during the search.

The man was known to the Oxford city, Cowley and Jericho areas but he also has connections to the Kings End and Greenwood Homes estates in Bicester and London.
Supt Bruce Riddell of St Aldates police station said officers were ‘increasingly worried for Sonny’s welfare and the risk he poses to the public’.
On August 22, police confirmed to the Oxford Mail that a helicopter was scrambled to the skies as part of efforts to find him and on Wednesday (August 23) it was reported that he was believed to be in Lambeth, in London.

The public was also warned not to approach Mr Lindo but to call 999 immediately due to the fear that he represented a risk to the public.
The investigation was subsequently taken over by Lambeth Borough Police.
However, Thames Valley Police has confirmed today that Mr Lindo has been found “safe and well” and everyone who has helped shared the appeal to find him were thanked.
