Thunderstorms are forecast across much of Oxfordshire this afternoon as the county prepares for the start of the bank holiday weekend.
Thundery showers are expected to hit Oxford between 4pm and 7pm with light rain continuing later on into the evening.
Abingdon, Didcot, Bicester and Banbury are also predicted to experience thunderstorms this afternoon, according to the BBC weather forecast.

It comes as a Met Office yellow weather warning of thunderstorms has been put in place for parts of the UK today.
The August bank holiday weekend begins today with people from across the county heading to Reading Festival and other major events.
Showers are expected to continue on Saturday and Saturday with cloudy, overcast conditions predicted on Monday.
