Two people in their early 20s were arrested in Oxford city centre this morning (August 24) on suspicion of robbery.
Three police cars and multiple police officers were seen on Cornmarket Street just before 11am.
One of the police cars was unmarked.

The arrests are in relation to a robbery that was reported on Park End Street in the early hours of August 19.
A Playstation 5 was stolen in the incident, although nobody was injured.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "Following contact from CCTV operators sighting two suspects, officers attended.
"A 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both from Abingdon have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are in police custody."
