REECE WALL, 18, of Falkland Close, Burford, received 22 weeks’ detention in a young offenders’ institution suspended for a year for driving a BMW dangerously from Witney to Burford on January 14, failing to stop for the police and driving without a valid licence or insurance. He was ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid work, up to 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days and was banned from driving for a year. He must pay £239 in costs and surcharge.

SEBASTIAN DEPINHO, 19, of Oxford Road, Reading, admitted possession of MDMA, a class A drug, in Banbury on March 22. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay £205 in costs and surcharge.

STEVEN RUSHMER, 59, of North Way, Oxford, admitted assaulting a police constable in Oxford on March 25. He was given a 10 week prison sentence suspended for a year and must pay £35 in compensation.

DANIEL WADE, 36, of Renny Road, Portsmouth, admitted stalking a woman by repeatedly contacting her trying to find her whereabouts. He also accepted breaching a restraining order by meeting up with the same woman, stealing two dog harnesses from Crofts Pet Foods in Banbury and possession of crack cocaine. He was jailed for a total of 32 weeks and given a restraining order banning contact with the woman until 2025.

MARLON ABREU, 28, of Halliday Hill, Oxford, admitted drink driving a Ford Focus on Oxford Road, Kidlington, on March 19. Tests showed he had 104mlgs of alcohol in his blood. The legal limit is 80. He was fined £600, banned from the roads for 14 months and ordered to pay £325 in costs and surcharge.

PAUL WHITTAKER, 62, of Chapel Lane, Enstone, admitted being in charge of a VW Polo in Lidstone Road, Enstone, while over the legal limit for alcohol. Tests taken after he was arrested on July 25 showed he had 135mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, almost four times the legal drink-driving limit. He was given a community order with 60 hours of unpaid work, banned from driving for nine months and must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

HARRY LAWRENCE, 34, of Watlington Road, Shirburn, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Ford Transit in The Peacock Hotel car park in Henton. Tests showed he had 170mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, almost five times the legal limit. He was found in the car park on July 26. The bench imposed eight weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year, with an alcohol treatment requirement, 100 hours of unpaid work and up to five rehabilitation activity requirement days. He was banned from driving for three years and ordered to pay £239 in costs and surcharge.

RAJA YOUSAF, 38, of High Lane, Stoke on Trent, pleaded guilty to drug driving a Vauxhall Astra on the M40 near Bicester. Blood tests taken after he was stopped in August 2022 showed he was over the limit for cannabis. The district judge fined him £400, banned him from driving for a year and ordered he pay £660 in costs and surcharge.
