ELLIE COLLETT, 25, of Regent Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol worth £33.50 from Sainsbury’s at the Templars shopping centre in Cowley on August 7 and assaulting a man causing him ‘actual bodily harm’. She received 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and was ordered to pay £200 in compensation to the victim of the assault.
MARK TURNER, 44, of Bader Drive, Upper Heyford, admitted two counts of assaulting police officers in Bicester last September. He was fined £40, ordered to pay compensation totalling £100 and must also pay £56 in costs and surcharge.

VINNIE BROWN, 27, of The Park, Stow on the Wold, pleaded guilty to driving a Citroen Saxo on Southwold Lane, Bicester, while over the legal limit for cocaine. He also admitted simple possession of the class A drug. The offences were committed on February 27. The magistrates fined him a total of £535 and banned him from driving for a year. He was also ordered to pay £299 in costs and surcharge.
JADE PHILLIPS, 33, of Bishopswood Road, Tadley, Hants, accepted drug driving a blue VW Golf on the A34 near Abingdon on February 4. Blood tests showed she was over the limit for cannabis and benzoylecgonine. The magistrates imposed a community order with 50 unpaid work hours and the thinking skills sessions. The court register provided to the Oxford Mail did not record that she had received a driving disqualification, although a roads ban of at least a year is mandatory unless ‘special reasons’ are argued. She must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

JOHN FRANKUM, 41, of Fane Drive, Berinsfield, admitted drink driving a Ford Focus on Abingdon Road, Clifton Hampden, on July 2. Tests showed he had 120mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, more than three times over the legal limit of 35mcgs. He was fined £120, ordered to attend alcohol rehabilitation treatment sessions for six months and was banned from driving for three years. He must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.
MICHAEL GARDENER, 33, of The Lees, Faringdon, admitted damaging a woman’s window in Faringdon on July 11. He received a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and must complete up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days with the probation service. He was also ordered to pay £200 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JOEL MORRIS, 22, of Upper Tysoe, Warks, admitted drink driving a Kia Picanto on Beaumont Road, Banbury, on July 22. Tests showed he was twice the legal limit, blowing 72mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £400, banned from driving for 15 months and ordered to pay £245 in costs and surcharge.
RICHARD COOPER, 60, of Fencott, admitted drink driving a Ford Ranger on Victoria Road, Bicester, on July 23. A breathalyser test showed he had 93mcgs of alcohol in his breath sample, more than two-and-a-half times the legal limit of 35mcgs. The magistrates imposed a community order with 80 hours of unpaid work, a two year driving ban and £199 in costs and surcharge.
