Drivers in north Oxfordshire were forced to queue this morning after a lorry crashed into the central reservation on the M40.
The accident happened before 7am between junction 11 at Banbury and junction 10 at Ardley, on the southbound carriageway, and led to the closure of one lane northbound and one lane southbound.
There were two-mile long queues throughout the rush-hour as drivers were forced to slow up approaching the crash site, which was coned off.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said paramedics took one person to hospital but could not provide any further details.
Highways Agency staff have arrived to clear debris from the road.
