Two new wooden footbridges are to be installed over a town brook.
The bridges will be installed over Colwell Brook at Deer Park South in Witney over the next couple of weeks.
The council said they "will offer a safe route for those wanting to cross Colwell Brook and will make this popular space more accessible all year round".
The tiny stream on the edge of an industrial estate cuts across an area popular with hikers and dog walkers.
It can present a hazard when it is in flood.

The new bridges are being funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
In February West Oxfordshire received £1,000,000 from the fund, which is part of the government’s levelling up agenda, which will be in place for three years.
Deerpark South Access Project to install paths and bridges so people can access the land was one of the projects to be funded in year one.
West Oxfordshire District Council said: "Please note that some paths around the site may be temporarily affected while these works are carried out."
