Two people have been discharged from hospital after they were involved in a six-car crash which led to the closure of parts of the A34.
A multi-vehicle crash at 1.20pm underneath the Botley Interchange near Oxford led to 70 minute delays yesterday (August 18).
Police were forced to close the northbound lane between Hinksey Hill and Peartree Interchange.
Two people were sent to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington and Thames Valley Police (TVP) has since revealed on Saturday morning that they have been discharged with minor injuries.
TVP said a white Mercedes Benz Tourismo coach is believed to have collided with stationary traffic.
No arrests have been made but the investigations are ongoing.
PC Shaun Kipling of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this collision or may have dash-cam footage to please get in touch."

The police have today issued a fresh appeal for witnesses.
An eyewitness told the Oxford Mail: “There were lots of fire vehicles in attendance.”
The eyewitness added that the slip road onto the A34 north was still open, but all the vehicles were being directed off the A34 north onto Botley interchange following the crash on Friday.

The A34 northbound reopened at around 4.30pm.
Before then, National Highways put a diversion route in place which directed drivers to leave the A34 at Hinksey Hill interchange and to join the A4074 at Oxford Southern Bypass.
Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel warned at the time that the incident would cause “major disruption not only to Botley services but the Abingdon routes as well”.
