A man has been charged after police received reports of a woman being assaulted in Oxford.
Police launched the investigation after a woman was allegedly assaulted between 6pm and 6.15pm on Tuesday (August 25), in St Giles of the city centre.
Daniel McMaster, aged 34, of no fixed abode, has been charged with assault.

He has been remanded in custody and will be appearing in Oxford Magistrates Court on the 24 August.
The woman did not sustain any injuries.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the incident.
Investigating officer, DC Kelly Williams based at Oxford police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed this incident to please get in touch.
