Firefighters have thanked "the kind people of Thame and surrounding area" for their support while they fought a major fire all weekend.
Scores of firefighters from across the Thames Valley fought the blaze affecting two houses on High Street in Thame on a rolling basis over Saturday and into Sunday.
Thame Firefighters posted a thank you message from "all the Thame fire crew, and the wider county and out of county crews" for all the support they have received from the community.

It said: "We have received and read so many supportive and kind messages and comments. We’ve also received lots of kind words of support, hot drinks, and food at the incident ground itself.
"It really is appreciated and does mean a lot to all of us."
They added: "Our thoughts are with the property owners who must now pick up the pieces of dealing with a major house fire."
