A woman had to be cut out of a car by firefighters this afternoon after the vehicle crashed into a tree.
The incident happened at around 3.25pm and has caused large tailbacks as the A40 has been closed westbound between Marsh Lane in Headington and the Cutteslowe roundabout since the crash.
The road is expected to remain closed until 8pm.
