DARTS: Original Swan lost their top spot in the ODDA Premier League last week when they went down 7-2 at Railway Social Club A.
But in this week's return fixture, Original Swan turned the tables.
Jon Jukes (180) gave the home side a good start when he defeated Ade Larner (180) 3-1.
The visitors levelled when an in-form Phil Addison (180) beat Peter Rouse 3-2.
The Swan led 2-1 when Simon Smith just got the better of Ollie Varney 3-2. But once again Railway fought back to level at 2-2 with Steve Foster (180) proving too good for Tony Allday, winning 3-0.
The home side hit back to take a 4-2 lead with wins from Nick Cobb and Tony Leone and they increased this to 6-3 after a 2-1 pairs win.
This result leaves both teams tied for first place on 36 points each.
The Shears have taken a decisive lead at the top of Section 1.
Pete Hall (180) gave them a 1-0 lead when he defeated Shelley Arms' Paul Champ 3-1.
The visiting Shelley levelled at 1-1 when Ray Pape beat Kevin Barefoot 3-1, and Dave Exell put the home side 2-1 ahead after a 3-1 win over Karl Smith.
Again, the Shelley fought back to level with Terry Woods (180) beating Mark Ord 3-2.
The Shears moved into a 4-2 lead when wins from Preben Krabben 3-0 and Kevin Wilkins 3-0 gave them a 4-2 advantage - Preben finishing one leg with a 138-finish (60-54-24).
The Shears went on to take the match 6-3 after a 2-1 pairs win.
Littlemore British Legion made it four wins out of four when they entertained Section 2 rivals Shelley Arms A.
Legion made a strong start when Nick Baldwin, Peter Hermon (180) and Pete Jones gave them a 3-0 lead, then Shelley narrowed the gap to 3-2 with wins from Simon Powell and Moss (180).
The Legion took complete control and Alan Eckert's 3-0 success over Richard White (180), coupled with a 3-0 pairs win, gave them a fine 7-2 victory.
An amazing turn-around took place at Quarry Gate. Last week the Ladies Premier side C team defeated the D team from Section 1 9-0.
This week the D team won a thrilling match 5-4 to stun the Premier side. Wins from Sue Cole, Di Dodson and D Beeley, along with a 2-1 pairs success, gave the D team a remarkable victory.
