A high risk missing person was found on an overbridge by police community support officers (PCSOs) from Abingdon's neighbourhood team.
An officer attempted to engage with the person, who had been discovered after an area search, until further units arrived to assist.
In what Thames Valley Police described as a “busy end of July, start of August” for its PCSOs, a high risk missing person was also discovered sat on the edge of a riverbank.

An officer spoke to them until further units arrived.
During the period, the officers also found a run-away 10 year old and detained a man who had crashed his vehicle and made off.
Suspects were identified in relation to anti-social behaviour reports in Abingdon, and officers also provided evidence for a male who breached his Community Behaviour Order multiple times to go to court.
