Plans to build hundreds of homes in Oxford will be decided on next week.
A developer in partnership with Oxford City Council has applied to build nearly 300 homes in the heart of Blackbird Leys.
The planning application by Catalyst contains plans for 294 new rented and shared ownership homes across two sites - the district centre and Knights Road.

The city council’s planning committee, which has been recommended to approve the application by the planning officer, will decide on the plans at a meeting on Tuesday, August 15.
The application contains detailed plans for a new district centre to include 210 new homes, 174 of which will be for social rent and 36 shared ownership, as well as 84 new houses on land off Knights Road that will all be shared ownership.
There are also proposals for a new community centre, open green spaces, a community square and improved road infrastructure.
Road infrastructure would be improved, and a safe, segregated cycle route created.
Catalyst and Oxford City Council aim to start work on the first phase of the development late this year.
Consultation on future phases of the development is likely to take place in 2024.
The plans have attracted objections from residents and the Oxfordshire Badger Group with concerns over car parking provision and the development’s effect on the environment.
