A vehicle has been seized for having no insurance after police officers have been “conducting proactive patrols”.
Thames Valley Police’s Rural Crime Task Force seized the grey car at around 1am yesterday (August 7) in Minster Lovell near Witney.
A police spokesman said: “The recovery agent joked ‘you rural crime officers seize more cars than roads policing’.

“Officers all across Thames Valley have been conducting proactive patrols."
On Friday afternoon, (August 4) officers in an unmarked police car from the rural crime taskforce caught a driver using their phone near Steventon.
The policing team tagged the incident as one of the ‘fatal four’, which is four ways which drivers put themselves and others at risk by driving dangerously.
