A cyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a lorry in Oxfordshire this afternoon (August 7).
The collision occurred on the A361 in Bloxham near Banbury at around 2.30pm.
The road is currently shut in both directions due to police investigation work.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "This is a serious injury traffic collision between a bicycle and a lorry.

The A361 South Newington Road, near Bloxham, is currently closed in both directions due to a serious road traffic collision.
It is closed for accident investigation work.

"The cyclist, a male, has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
"The road remains closed in both directions, and is likely to be so for some time.
"We don’t have any further details we are able to provide at present, other than to ask if anybody witnessed the collision or who may have dash-cam from around the time of the incident at just before 2.30pm today, they can contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting the reference number 43230351334."
