THOUSANDS of car enthusiasts made Sunday's Oxfordshire Motor Show one of the biggest in its 16-year history.
The annual motor show held at Cutteslowe Park, Oxford, had more than enough entertainment for the families who made the trip.
There were 13 car manufacturers on show, a road safety display by firefighters and entertainment from Fox FM, Crowds also flocked to enjoy a rally driving simulator, helicopter rides and games, as well as a host of fairground rides.
Father-of-three, Michael Shaw, 55, of Oxford, said: "I came here to look at the cars and the kids had plenty to do. I was quite glad in the end that it is not just a car show. We are very lucky it is a nice hot day."
An estimated 5,000 people turned up and although the fun day was free £1 donations were collected on entry which will go towards the Oxford Children's Hospital.
The latest cars from Jeep, Chevrolet, Renault, Mazda, Volvo, Volkswagen, Seat, Chrysler, Hyundai, Dodge and other top manufacturers were on display.
There was also a chance to see stretched Limousines and Humvees and a replica of Fernando Alonso's Renault Formula One racing car.
