With children home for the summer holidays, the days can feel long and it can be difficult to keep finding fun, new activities.
However, there are lots of exciting days out for families to enjoy across Oxfordshire.
Here are five ideas for days out, covering children of all ages and every possible weather forecast.
1. Blenheim Palace
Earlier this year the UNESCO World Heritage Site opened a brand new Adventure Play experience for children.
Covering a site larger than a football pitch, The Lost Garden features tree-top walkways, tunnels, ziplines and slides.
On a sunny day enjoy a picnic in the grounds or hire a boat to row on the lake.

Based in Brize Norton, the zoo is also home to meerkats, Galapagos tortoises and one of the few Komodo Dragon’s in the UK.
There’s a daily events schedule which includes animal encounters and feeds. The onsite cafe has hot food at reasonable prices.
