A man suffered a fractured eye socket and needed hospital treatment after he was attacked in Witney.
The incident, which police are treating as grievous bodily harm, happened at around 12.30pm on Friday July 28, in the alleyway leading from Tower Hill to Smiths Estate.
The victim was attacked from behind and sustained a fractured eye socket and black eye, and was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

Investigating Officer, PC Thomas Batchelor, based at Witney police station said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who has information about what happened, to please come forward."
