Work is well under way on upgrades to the track and signalling system at Oxford's train station.
The station closed for nine days on Saturday, July 29 and should reopen on Sunday, August 6.
Three 75mph high-speed crossovers - where trains change track - are being installed north of the station between Walton Well Road bridge and Aristotle Lane footbridge.

Network Rail said these would make it quicker and easier for trains to get in and out of the station and make way for an additional line and platform to be installed in 2024 for the new East West Rail services.
Lineside signalling equipment will be upgraded and work will take place on Osney Lane footbridge and some platforms in the station.
The work is part of a £161million station and railway upgrade by Network Rail.
No trains are running to or from the station with replacement buses in operation instead.
There will also be a number of overnight and one-day closures before and after the core works.
🛠️ Our track & signalling upgrade in Oxford is well underway and will help unlock additional capacity, for a future increase in train services.
