A 17-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following an accident which closed the A40 today.
The teenager, who was driving a transit van, was taken to hospital suffering from a back injury following a smash with a lorry.
The incident occurred between the turn off for the B4022 and the A415 at Ducklington Lane at around 6.30am.
A police spokesman said the lorry driver was not injured, or arrested, following the incident which closed the road for four hours.
The A40 is now fully open following an investigation by police.
