The Met Office has forecast the wet weather will continue, with thunder expected tomorrow.
The unsettled weather is set to continue as August starts, with thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow (August 2).
Temperatures will remain warm today (August 1), with temperatures reaching a maximum of 21C at 2pm.

It will be cloudy and overcast throughout the day, with intervals of sunshine at 1pm and 6pm.
Tomorrow, it is expected that torrential downpours will start from 10am and these will be accompanied by thunder at 2pm and 3pm.
Sunshine is forecast to emerge at 4pm but light showers are still likely in the early evening.

Thursday and Friday are set to be less wet but it will remain cloudy and overcast.
Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday are likely to be around 20C, with rain showers possibly falling late Saturday afternoon.
