Roadworks on a roundabout in an Oxfordshire town are due to start today (August 1) and last for over a year.
The improvements have been announced for the Oxford Road roundabout on the outskirts of Abingdon.
The roadworks are being managed by Oxfordshire County Council and the authority said that ‘delays are unlikely.’

According to the website one.network contractors will be widening the road.
Residents took to social media to express their frustrations.
One person commented: “There are signs at Oxford Road roundabout announcing works commencing tomorrow and last until Autumn 2024.
“Any ideas what’s going on? What do the council have in store for us? A flyover?”
Another added: “Sounds ghastly. Pleased that I don't live there now. It's going to mean even more noise for those nearby. We need less cars, not more.”
