The last journey of a cyclist who died after being run over by a lorry was retraced by jurors.
Anthony Spink, 41, was killed in a collision with a delivery truck in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, on July 18 last year.
Andrew Stubbs, 40, of George Street, Bicester, is accused of causing death by dangerous driving and perverting the course of justice.
Leeds Crown Court heard Mr Spink died from multiple injuries after Stubbs drove off with the bike trapped beneath his truck.
The prosecution alleges he drove six or seven miles to a layby and disposed of the mangled bike and the victim's personal items in a field.
The jury of seven men and five women travelled to Wakefield to see the accident scene and truck.
The court heard Mr Spink, of Featherstone, was travelling along Ings Road at 10am.
Stubbs, travelling in the same direction, missed a turn but decided to turn left on to Charlesworth Way.
Eyewitness Michael Kitchingman told the trial Mr Spink tried to grab on to the cab of the lorry before being dragged under the front wheels and was run over again by the rear wheels. The court heard the lorry made no attempt to stop.
Stubbs said he did not know he'd had a collision with a cyclist. The trial continues.
