I am incensed that patients are not keeping their appointments at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford (Oxford Mail, June 21).
I have been back and forth as a patient to the JR since December.
The waiting room is always crowded with patients. A carer accompanies me.
If people are not attending, why are so many people waiting, and why am I kept waiting at least one-and-a-half to two hours to be seen?
Surely the doctors would be able to see another patient in that non-attending patient time.
I and my daughter are distressed at the time wasted.
Perhaps the non-attendee was put off by the crowd and walked out.
This is what I would have done if I were not so ill with, so far, an unexplained illness.
