A council has requested an eviction notice for a group of travellers who have set up camp on a sports ground.
Sam Holland, councillor for Bicester East on Bicester Town Council, said: “The illegal encampment on Kea Field has been flagged to Thames Valley Police.
“We are awaiting an update for them on whether an eviction notice will be served and a plan put in place to enforce it.

“In the meantime, Bicester Town Council is aware of the situation and will act swiftly to clear the site once an eviction has been enforced.
“The town council will look at what measures it can take to deter future encroachment at Kea Field.
“The priority will be on swift deployment of any measure.”
